Riser recliner chairs, or lift-n-tilt as they are sometimes known, gently lift you to enable an easy exit from the chair. They come in various designs and can be off the shelf or bespoke hand made to measure (here in the UK) There are motor options to consider, for example a single motor chair typically lifts the footrest whilst reclining the backrest, a dual motor has a separate set of buttons to operate the backrest, ensuring an infinite number of relaxing positions. Our hand made 'wall-hugger' models can be placed around 3 inches from a wall and still recline, once your feet are safely lifted from the floor the chair gently moves forward as the backrest reclines - a clever English design!   

With the hand made chairs comes a wide variety of designer fabric choices, we lend out the swatches to enable comparison to other furnishings. Typically a hand made chair is delivered to you 2 - 3 weeks from order.
