Information we may collect

We may collect and process the following information:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number and postal address when you contact us by phone, email, post, visit our shop in person, or use our website forms (including any notes we make about your enquiry).
  • Order information such as products purchased, delivery address, billing address and payment status. Payment card details are processed securely by our payment provider and are not stored on our systems.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and version, device information, time zone setting, and pages visited, to help us maintain and improve our website.
  • Usage data about how you interact with our website, including products viewed, items added to the basket and checkout behaviour.
  • Any other information you choose to provide when you communicate with us (for example, enquiries about servicing and repairs).

You are not required to provide any personal information simply to browse our website.

How we use your information

We may use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide customer service.
  • Process and deliver your orders, including arranging deliveries, handling payments through our payment providers, and managing returns and warranties.
  • Maintain our records and accounts.
  • Improve the operation, security and performance of our website, products and services.
  • Analyse how visitors use our site in order to improve our products, services and customer experience.
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We will only use your personal information when we have a lawful basis to do so, such as:

  • Performance of a contract (for example, to supply products or services you have ordered).
  • Compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Our legitimate interests (for example, to respond to enquiries, manage our business, prevent fraud and understand how our website is used), provided these do not override your rights and interests.
  • Your consent, where this is required (for example, for certain types of marketing communications or optional analytics cookies).

WooCommerce and e‑commerce

Our online shop is powered by WooCommerce, which helps us manage products, orders and payments.

When you place an order, WooCommerce stores information such as:

  • Your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address and phone number.
  • The contents of your order, order value and payment status.
  • Your chosen delivery and payment methods.

We use this information to process your order, prevent fraud, handle returns and provide customer support. Access to order information is limited to authorised staff.

Payment card details are handled directly by our payment service providers (such as card processors or digital wallets) and are not stored on this website. They process your data in accordance with their own privacy notices and applicable data protection laws.

Contact forms (Getformly)

Our contact forms are provided via an embedded script from Getformly, a third‑party form service. When you submit a form, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number and message) is transmitted to Getformly and then made available to us so we can respond to your enquiry.

We use this information to:

  • Respond to your questions or requests.
  • Provide quotes, product information or service information you have asked for.
  • Keep a record of communications in case of follow‑up.

Getformly acts as a data processor on our behalf and may store your form submission data on its own servers. We require Getformly to keep your information secure and to use it only according to our instructions and applicable data protection laws. For more details, please refer to Getformly’s own privacy policy on their website.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve our content, layout and services. Google Analytics collects information such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page.
  • Links clicked and navigation paths.
  • Your approximate location (based on IP address), device type, browser type and operating system.

This information is collected in an anonymised or pseudonymised form and does not allow us to directly identify you. We do not use Google Analytics to track or collect personally identifiable information, and we do not combine analytics data with other information in a way that could identify individual users.

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting Google Analytics cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your browser cookie settings or using any cookie controls we provide on the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt‑out Browser Add‑on, available from Google.

Google processes information on our behalf and may store data on servers outside the UK/EEA. For more information about how Google collects and processes data, please see Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics’ own documentation.

Marketing

We do not send marketing communications without your consent. This includes email newsletters and marketing emails that you may choose to receive when you sign up on our website, tick a box at checkout, or otherwise opt in.

If you have chosen to receive updates from us (for example, about new products, offers or services), you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details above or following any unsubscribe instructions in our communications.

Our website and associated data are hosted with our chosen web hosting provider. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including secure servers, access controls and appropriate data back‑ups.

Access to personal data is limited to authorised members of staff and trusted service providers who need the information to perform their duties and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Sharing your information

We will not sell your personal information to anyone.

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, website hosting, WooCommerce extensions, payment processors, IT support, email service providers, Getformly and delivery/courier services).
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or legal advisers, where necessary.
  • Law enforcement agencies, regulators or other authorities where we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.

We require any third parties that process personal information on our behalf to keep it secure, to use it only in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection laws, and not to use it for their own independent purposes.

We do not share IP addresses, email addresses or other personal contact details with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Make the site work properly and keep it secure.
  • Remember your preferences (for example, items in your basket, currency, or cookie choices).
  • Enable essential e‑commerce functions in WooCommerce.
  • Help us understand how the site is used and improve it over time, including through Google Analytics.

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non‑essential cookies (such as analytics or marketing cookies). You can usually block or delete cookies by activating the settings on your browser that allow you to refuse some or all cookies. If you block all cookies, some parts of our site (including the online shop) may not function correctly.

Our website may contain links to other websites, including suppliers, manufacturers and service providers. If you follow a link to an external site, please note that those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit which collects personal information.

How long we keep your information

We will keep your personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. In general:

  • Order and transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting rules.
  • Enquiry and support communications, including any handwritten notes taken during phone calls or shop visits, may be kept for as long as needed to manage your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow‑up.

After these periods, we will securely delete or anonymise your information.

Your rights

Depending on your location and subject to certain conditions, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request the deletion of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict our use of your information in certain circumstances.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on your consent to process your information.
  • Request that we transfer your personal data to you or another service provider (data portability), where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK. Details of how to do this are available on the ICO website.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
