For home use, we offer a variety of chairs, including riser recliners and high seat fireside chairs that provide excellent support and comfort. These chairs help users stand up more easily while reducing strain on muscles and joints. Furniture raisers are also available to adapt existing seating or beds, enhancing accessibility without the need for new furniture.

Riser Recliners
Riser recliner chairs, or lift-n-tilt as they are sometimes known, gently lift you to enable an easy exit from the chair. They come in various designs and can be off the shelf or bespoke, hand-made to measure (here in the UK). There are motor options to consider. For example, a single motor chair typically lifts the footrest whilst reclining the backrest, a dual motor has a separate set of buttons to operate the backrest, ensuring an infinite number of relaxing positions. Our handmade 'wall-hugger' models can be placed around 3 inches from a wall and still recline. Once your feet are safely lifted from the floor, the chair gently moves forward as the backrest reclines - a clever English design!

With the handmade chairs comes a wide variety of designer fabric choices; we lend out the swatches to enable comparison to other furnishings. Typically, a handmade chair is delivered to you 2 - 3 weeks from order.

High Seat Fireside
The high seat or fire side chairs as they are often known, are designed to enable the user to get out of the chair more easily. They come in a choice of designs to suit most budgets, and we offer free local delivery. Call in and discuss your requirements, ring us, or email us through the website.

Furniture Raisers
A useful piece of kit to raise your current furniture, enabling exiting from chairs to become easier. There is a wide range available to suit most requirements, from elegant 'turned' wooden ones to the popular elephant's feet.
